Welcome to SolWeb Technologies

SolWeb Technologies changes the solar industry making it RELAVENT, COMPEDITIVE, and DYNAMIC. Panels are now completely unintrusive; spanning high over terrain using cables instead of rigid steel. This simple change of orienting the panels vertically and high in the air creates a cascading effect dramatically improving every metric of solar development and the land under it.

SolWeb is derived from the spider-web-like network of suspended cables and lines supporting swinging solar panels, capturing the sun like a fly in a spider web.

These panels are physically and electrically interconnected via swivels, bearing sleeves, or hinges, enabling dynamic movement and load redistribution. The web’s robust design accommodates gaps caused by significant events or to allow vertical structures like https://www.energy.gov/eere/solar/foundational-agrivoltaic-research-megawatt-scale-farms-funding-programnnected using suspension bridge-like anchor cables and rebar baskets, stabilized with fabric-separated layers of stabilized soil. Elevation is achieved through existing or purpose-built vertical structures, which may be static or hoistable with counterweights and motors. Anchors facilitate access to the web, grounding of electrical components, water integration for agrivoltaics or panel cleaning, and co-location of inverters and medium-voltage collection systems. The overhead panels provide partial shading, reducing soil evaporation, lowering ambient temperatures, and promoting water retention. The system enables agrivoltaic applications, including agrisonic, agriphotonic, and electroculture enhancements, making large-scale agrivoltaics feasible. Additionally, the Solar Web supports multi-use land applications, spanning environmentally sensitive areas such as superfund sites, wetlands, or culturally protected lands, mitigating invasive development while enhancing economic value and biodiversity. By disrupting intense weather impacts and prolonged sunlight exposure, the system fosters sustainable land use and scalable renewable energy integration.

SolWeb Applications

Multi-use Land

SolWeb designs can span over farmland. Revolutionizing agrivoltaics. Solweb promotes the following passive benefits:

1. Protective shielding to deflect gusts of wind and heavy
rainfall and light hail effectiveness correlated with the wind
direction.

2. Irrigation water sharing (used to clean panels) and partial
sun (effect when panels are elevated) produces the
beneficial effect of lower temperatures at the hottest part of
the day and reduced water usage or increased water usage
efficiency on crops. The food energy water nexus optimizes

3. Grazers provide an option for dual usage of range land, providing partial shade and encouraging grassland regrowth.

4. Electroculture increases the magnetic field (MF) increases
germination, disease resistance, and energizes micronutrients,
increasing 20-30% or more (some studies show up to 300% -

Optional improvement that can benefit agrivoltaics:
• Optional hoistable mast with DC-coupled battery to power suspended agriphotonic lighting systems.

Constrained Land

What was once a constraint now is an opportunity.  Span over culturally protected, jurisdictional wetlands, biological habitat, even housing with just an air rights easement.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why are these panels oriented vertically?

Vertically oriented bifacial panels reflect just shy of 81% efficiency to the single axis tracker. This is due to shadow casting and loss of peak efficiency. Practically the number is more like 90-95% with the peak hours of the day being clipped to around 80%. Additionally, with the suspended system in the SolWeb design we add 30% panel to panel spacing further increasing the performance window to match to where the power gets clipped and extending the window of production. Soiling on vertically mounted panels will be minimized with the swinging panels and wind acting to continually clean the panels. The vertical panels break a percent of wilting direct sunlight, shorten the window of direct sunlight to preserve moisture without reducing the usability of land for agriculture. The vertical configuration encourages cooling of components, and most importantly increases the high production window/duration for without having energy being cut clipping threshold.png.

How can the SolWeb benefit my Farm?

Agrivoltaics can benefit your farms by maximizing land use efficiency sheilding it from development. Promoting hyderproductive farming practices with electrovoltais, suspended irregation, water conservation and wilt protection. These systems will be one of the most efficient producers of energy without tieing up acreage.

What is the process for solar panel installation?

The process for solar panel installation includes a land owner of developer discussion to customize the product arcitecture. Then with a letter of intent there is a critical issues analysis, accompanied by a site visit (2-6 weeks). After the issues are identified as acceptable risk an engineering system design will be drafted (2-4 Months), and permitting process will be started for the anchors, pedistal and mast (congruent with design). The manufacturing of components and construction will be supported by SolWeb but not facilitated.
